If necessary we will provide all the tackle you will need.
What you need to bring:
Because personal comfort can make or break a trip, we at Angling Adventures recommend that you come prepared for the season. Remember to dress in layers — you can always shed a layer to adjust for temperature.
Also be sure to pack your polarized glasses and your rain gear.
Breathable or neoprene waders with felt or studded soles are a must. Wading accessories such as Korkers (metal cleats) and a wading staff are highly advised as the river bottom is very slippery.
It’s also a good idea to bring a camera, thermos (A hot drink can be nice on a cold day), and a cooler in case you want to keep your catch.
And don’t forget to have your current NY State fishing license.
Also, please let us know if you have any physical limitations or disabilities. This information will help us to plan the trip that’s right for you.
