we fished the bottom end of the DSR today.
Unfortunately there was very little movement of fresh fish coming in and not much sign of very many in the estuary.
Regardless we did manage to play with a couple and were able to land this one.
According to my colleagues that have been fishing the lake at night it appears that there are decent numbers of them out there very close to the mouth of the River and that they are staging to come in, hopefully the cooler weather that we have been seeing will lower the water temps and be the trigger that sets these fish on their journey upriver
